This summer, Football for Worldwide Unity invites kids to lace up their boots and travel the world through football! Our “Around the World” Summer Camp at Playground Berlin takes kids on an unforgettable journey across continents, exploring how the beautiful game is played in different cultures while building both football skills and essential life values.
Led by Sascha Bauer, founder of FFWU, UEFA A-License coach, and international DFB expert, the camp is more than just drills and games. With experience coaching in Mozambique, Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, and the USA, Sascha brings global insights and infectious enthusiasm to every session.

Football Meets Culture
Each day of the week-long camp highlights a different continent, blending unique football styles with personal development:
Day 1 – South America
Kids will learn to dribble and create chances like Brazilian and Argentinian stars. The focus is on flair, creativity, and fun. From “Dribble like Messi” drills to a street football tournament, the day builds self-confidence and imagination.
Day 2 – Europe
It’s all about clinical finishing and intelligent play. Kids will practice shooting like European greats such as Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappé, while afternoon games model Spain’s legendary Tiki-Taka style. Communication and team strategy take centre stage.
Day 3 – Africa
Strength, resilience, and teamwork shine as kids take on the role of defenders like Morocco’s World Cup heroes. Activities emphasize tackling, trust, and working together under pressure.
Day 4 – Asia
Precision is the goal. With inspiration from players like Heung-Min Son and Lee Kang-In, children practice accurate passing and shooting. Empathy and compassion are integrated through special team formats like “Empathy buddy” matches.
Day 5 – Around the World
The final day brings it all together. In the morning, kids showcase their skills. In the afternoon, teamwork takes the spotlight as groups face off in circuit-style games that require everything they’ve learned.
More than Football
At its core, the camp is guided by FFWU’s “Sharing Goals” approach. Alongside football, children develop creativity, communication, empathy, motivation, and confidence. It’s a program where personal growth and global understanding go hand in hand.
Even better: All proceeds support FFWU’s training programs in developing countries, helping local coaches empower kids both on and off the pitch. Participants not only grow through the experience, but they also give back.
