A particularly moving “Festa de Futebol” took place in Albasine on 23rd June 2013. Albasine has been the location of our very first soccer festival about 1.5 years ago and was the beginning of an exciting project in which we invested a lot of know-how, sweat and enthusiasm continuing to this day. With pride and great joy we were glad to be back on site.
It was a hot day on the ‘Campo Oriental’, also called ‘Germans Place’, but despite the heat our football-learning event was received with great enthusiasm by about 85 children and youths. “It was a very emotional day for me, because once again the joy in the eyes of children and young people made me feel very happy. Hopefully we can continue the football parties for a long time and have many children permanently happy.” our president and project manager Sascha summed up in Mozambique.
