We have the pleasure to announce all 26 attending youth trainers have successfully completed the course. DFB Vice-President and BFV – President Dr. Rainer Koch presented participants personally with official Festa de Futebol t-shirts and gave a motivational talk to the trainers, which was well received.
On Saturday 19th April the youth trainers were able to apply the newly learned material at the final event of the five day course, when another Festa de Futebol was organised in Albasine. It was a success all round with over 80 children between the ages of 6 to12 from local sports club and schools engaging, supported by BVF. Our chief trainer Sascha reports: ‘It was a very emotional experience with lots of goose pimple moments. I am very happy to witness their development. The trainers were fully motivated and provided a day of fun mixed with learning for the kids. Hopefully they can continue their work with enthusiasm and take away the idea that football can support a wide range of knowledge which can become useful later in life.’
