Introduction

The course is being conducted by Football For Worldwide Unity (FFWU), and we take your privacy seriously. This data policy explains how FFWU collects, stores, and uses personal data in connection with course participation. We collect personal data from course participants for the purpose of registering them for the event, facilitating their participation as well as for internal analysis, impact assessment and program improvements (Monitoring & Evaluation).

The types of personal data we collect may include:  

  • personal and demographic data (such as names, age, gender, occupation, education) 
  • contact data (such as addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers) 
  • Coaching related data (such as coaching experience, coaching frequency, information related to the coaches’ team structure) 
  • The participants’ answers to our survey questions (such as expectations, needs, opinions, (self-) assessments) 

Data Storage and Protection

We take appropriate measures to secure personal data and protect it from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or destruction. Personal data will be stored on secure servers and only accessed by authorized personnel for the purposes set out in this policy.

Data Use

We use personal data for the purpose of registering registrants for the course, facilitating their participation and communicating with them in connection with the course. It will also be used for internal research and analysis to gain insight into project impact and developments. Based on the data, we analyze the results of our survey, create reports and presentations based on the results and improve our projects.

Data Sharing

We will not share personal data with any third parties, except as required by law or with the registrant’s prior consent. All data will be kept confidential and only used for the purposes stated in this privacy policy.

Personal data will be retained for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your personal data. This includes using secure servers and encrypted connections to store and transmit data.

Under the GDPR, participants have the right to access, rectify, delete, or restrict the processing of their personal data. These rights can be exercised by contacting FFWU at info@ffwu.org

This privacy policy is effective as of 07.02.2023. We reserve the right to update this policy from time to time, and changes will be posted on our website so please check back periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your personal data.
